Kitex Garments plans to invest Rs 3,550 crore towards the development of two integrated apparel parks in Telangana.
The investment is structured in two phases. In the first phase, the company will invest Rs 1,750 crore towards the development of an apparel park in Warangal while it will invest Rs 1.800 in the second phase of the project for the development of an apparel park in Hyderabad.
To date, the company has already invested Rs 1,550 crore in these facilities. It is slated to begin commercial production at the Warangal facility in April 2025. Both these world-class parks are designed to drastically increase the company's production capacity, enhance its global competitiveness, and fortify its supply chain resilience.
Once fully operational, the facilities are projected to generate Rs 5,000 crore in annual revenue and create nearly 25,000 jobs. This investment is not only about building factories; it is about creating ecosystems that generate employment, uplift communities, and strengthen India’s position as a global sourcing hub, says Sabu Jacob, Chairman and Managing Director.
